    Interview with SSTG

    Hi,

    I've been called to my very first interview with SSTG! I just wondered whether anyone could shed some light about what to expect, as I know some shipping companies do tests prior to the interview.

    i would be grateful for any replies,

    I've got mine too in two weeks! I went to Warsash open day and the advice I got from SSTG was to learn about the company, the different companies they have, some of their ships etc. Just to relax and know your field. Hope that helps! X

      I've got mine in February. Anyone travelling/travelled from Scotland, Glasgow to down there. I've looked at flights and trains, what's the best travel method could anyone recommend?
      The games are always, repeat, always, being played. But nobody plays the games like me. You just have to be the best.. And I usually am. Same rules apply.

        I think you have to arrange with SSTG beforehand if you're flying.

            Yeah I had an interview with SSTG, but I caught the train from London so flying wasn't exactly an option...
            The email you got should have details on how to go about organising travel/expenses, just have a read of that. The nearest train station is a ten minute walk away. I recommend you arrive with lots of time to spare, find the place, and then go and have a cup of tea in a local tea shop

              Yeah I have read it, I'm just looking it up before I phone them so I've got a rough idea of what options I've got. Yeah I seen that it's only a 10 minute walk (with the help of modern technology) but it's 2 stops and ones in London getting the train.

                    Just thought I'd stick this in here....

                    I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.....

                          Samerulesapply, The bear is having an interview with SSTG that is why GM put up the picture, so have a read what her experience was like and then you will have a better idea!
