  • Interview for January

    Hello all!

Been told I have an interview for Friday 13th December (Yeah I Know...).

I've previously had an interview for the August start in April but I was not successful. Although this time I'm better equipped. I'm glad I got rejected the first time round because I was able to change many things about myself.

So I just want to know, what are the main things I have to ace in the interview to guarantee myself a place, I have the personality and the attitude for it, I was let down before for not researching enough so this time I know that I need to do that.

    Any more tips?

    Thanks,
    Ross.

Make sure you've given this thread a butchers first, and then come back if you still want to know more.

    Good luck!

The best thing you can do is read the thread that sparrow mentions and research the company. Ship types, cargo, background, etc.

      Best of luck!

Read that thread, helped me a lot. I'm confident that I know how to answer most of the questions but just need to think of my give an example of when you worked in a team answer, a decent one at that.

Also do any of you know any good tips to remembering the 10ships and there stats?

        Thanks.

10 ships... Is this a Carnival interview?

No need to remember in-depth technical detail. If it is Carnival, know what the Carnival brands are and general information like smallest ship, biggest ship, etc etc.

It's with CMT, at my first interview they asked for some of the types of ships, I can rhyme off about 7 from my head so that should be sufficent, and if I state which is the biggest and which is the smallest and which are used for what etc.

I put them in groups according to cargo types or similar speeds/manning etc. Learn each group at a time until you can rattle them all off
