    Ah the notorious tie dilemma!

    Just my opinion so feel free to ignore but personally I'd play it safe and go for the plain one. I wouldn't wear a snazzy tie to any formal business occasion so I'd never wear one to an interview.

    I would probably suggest go for the plain one. I can't see any advantage to wearing something snazzy really...

    Tie dilemma

    I have an interview with Clyde Marine on Thursday and I have a smart grey suit and white shirt. I am however unsure whether to wear a plain tie (more serious), or if I should wear one with a little more colour and flare - any advice?
