Just had an email off maersk asking if id be willing to attend an interview for sept 13, even though i applied for sept next year, because they have extra places. Anyone willing to shed some light on this? Thanks lads (and ladies)

What exactly do you want to know? Maersk have some spare spaces and invited you along for interview. Go....

Yes i did. But interviews r scheduled for next 3-4 weeks. Banfg in the middle of my highers

Received the same email today. But ive already accepted an offer from a different company.
Go for it though! From what ive heard they are a very good training company. I would've gone for the interview myself however I am very happy with my sponsor choice.

I know of at least one maersk cadet who's had to defer for medical reasons, so looks like you were on the reserve list. Anyway, go for it!

I got this email today aswell, was a bit shocked. Have you replied? My highers don't start 'til around the end of May, so hopefully I'm fine. It's quite remarkable that they've already recieved over six hundred applicants for Sept 2014's intake!

Ye i said yes straight away but explained my exam situation etc.. My first exam is on the 9th of may and last one 9th ? of june (p.e). So i hope it will work out ok, wat college are u looking for?

Yeah, I replied pretty quickly as I didn't know how many people recieved the email. My first is Higher English 20th with H Chemistry on the 31st. Erm, not too sure. The email said about "flexibility", so I'll see what happens.

Ye i got H mod studies on the 9th, H english 20th, int 2 maths 22 H physics the 4th of junr nd H p.e on the 9th of june..busy few weeks for me!

Don't know, I caught the train. Generally I think it was up to ?150 reasonable expenses, but you're best ringing up to ask. Liam and Emma are very friendly and helpful.

Use what ever is cheapest. Remember this id your first impression if you claim a fortune and they think your taking the piss it wont go well for you.
