I don't suppose anyone else has been offered an interview with Princess Cruises? I thought someone would post by now...

Has anyone done an interview with them before? If so, is there anything you can say which could help?

    Many Thanks,

    Kieran

    Hi Kieran,
First of all congratulations on your interview offer!
Im a current princess cadet, albeit an engineer not a decky. However i was in your position this time last year. Im guessing you havent been sent the details of your interview yet? I wont go into too much detail for obvious reasons but the assessment day with princess is one of the most intense of the interviews, compared to alot of companies, some just do phone interviews. You will do aptitude tests, a maths examination and an interview.
Revise your GCSE level maths and go in brimming with confidence. The confidence is something they will really look at as your going to be on cruise ships with lots of passengers so that sort of thing is important.
The people at princess are really nice and i know all the people i was interviewed with felt really comfortable there. Princess are great to work for, not had any problems, so all good.
Going on my first sea phase in april and cant wait!
    Good Luck with the interview!

    Chris

I have my interview for deck cadethsip at Princess in just a few weeks time. As many people have cited it as one of the more intense interviews I was wondering if anyone has any extra advice for Princess. Also i have an interview a shortly after princess for SSTG, does anyone know how the two might compare, and for either interview is there any additional stuff i need to learn? Thanks for the help

All of what has been said above . It's intense yeah but you get free lunch so don't sweat it too much. Dust off your maths, go in confident and have fun with it.
