Has anyone applied to James Fisher? Having gone through their website it appears to me that the only way of applying is to print off the form and do it by hand. Very small boxes to write in etc !! anyone else any ideas on this ?

Unfortunately it looks like that is the only way! I sent my form off but I couldn't find an online alternative

That's what I did... I also printed off a full list of my qualifications and employment history and stuck those into the application too (those little boxes are definitely not sufficient). You probably want to get on the case ASAP though if you're aiming for the September intake.
