I've been lucky enough so far in my application to have gotten two interviews with different companies (one is next week). Does anybody know at what point do you become committed to a company? Is it the day you start college or is it earlier than that?

Once you sign the training agreement usually.
However if they pay for anything they provide on your behalf such as an ENG1. Then you don't accept their offer they may want it reimbursed for it.

        Normally works in order
        Application
        if successful interview
        if successful ENG1
        if successful training agreement
        then joining Instructions
        then college

Time scales in between each stage vary greatly

Normally I would say play it cool and wait after your getting the first offer to see if you get anymore. However their is alot more competition for places these days. I would seriously consider taking the first offer as their is nothing to stop them retracting if you take to long and they have other applicants.
