Again, this will be something that the company will help you with ONCE you have your cadetship. Never heard of anyone having to get a CRB check done though.

I see thank you very much i do have to go and try and get a us visa according to maersk or an advanced crb

SSTG take a variable amount of time to reply. It all depends on how busy they are at that particular time and right now they're obviously with Jan intake as you said. If you get an interview it's in Rochester, Kent. They'll reimburse travel costs, but if you're flying you need to organise tickets with them first

PatrickW, I was going to apply that way, however I thought applying through an application form would be easier than creating a CV. Where abouts is your interview with SSTG?

Hi, I have an interview with SSTG next week (for sept.) and CMT have responded to me, nothing much more. I applied to SSTG a few weeks ago but I went through North Star's website so I don't know if that made a difference. They shouldn't take long to get back, if you get an interview with SSTG feel free to get in touch and I'll tell you what they asked :P

Clyde Marine and SSTG.
Hi, all.
I'm looking to start an Engine cadetship in September. I've applied to Clyde Marine and SSTG already. Within a few days Clyde Marine got in touch and were happy to interview me on receipt of a ENG1 Medical. Now my question is, does anybody roughly know how long SSTG take to reply to applicants? I do understand they'll be be busy finalising cadets for January intake. Cheers.Tags: None
