Cma-cgm

Hi guys,

passed my interview with SSTG on Monday (woo), and now I'm looking at sponsor companies. The search function was not very forthcoming about cma-cgm, so I'm appealing to all of you lovely people instead. Does anyone have any experience as a deck cadet with cma-cgm? What are they like to train with and work for etc? Unfortunately I only speak the little Franglais that I learnt nearly ten years ago at high school, which consisted of je m'appelle and je voudrais... je joues le foot... is that going to be an issue? I imagine that they'll speak a fair amount of English, but is my lack of French likely to er, irritate them?

You don't need to worry about your French, the only time you are likely to meet a Frenchman while on a CMA CGM ship is if you call at Fos or Le Harve. I am not sponsored by CMA CGM but I spent several months as a deck cadet on board one of their ships, so I'll do my best to answer any questions you have.
