When to Apply

I'd look on the website, see when the applications actually open and apply then....

I applied in the first week of January, had interviews with Clyde Marine and Maersk. I don't know if I'd have had more luck with the individual companies had I applied in November/December, but then my age was also a factor (27). I figured their January intake would be largely sorted by January and they'd subsequently have plenty of time to look at September candidates.

I would apply after September maybe around November once they have all their new cadets sorted and settled in, some companies are still taking on last minute cadets or haven't sorted everything out

You'll be better off waiting until next year to apply, some companies haven't even got this years intake sorted!.

Hello everyone

I am 15 years old and with any luck I want to start training at Warsash starting September 2013.
I have e-mailed many companies however few have replied; when would I need to start applying to companies such as SSTG, Clyde Marine, Princess, Carnival, etc.
