accomodation costs

Hi all,

I have been offered a place for the hnc engineering course, i have just recieved plenty of forms to fill out, and have a few questions,

With the accomodation costs are they coming out of the weekly amounts we recieve or are they paid had a look around but not 100%, yet to speak to accomodation as have just recieved forms to fill in, if so, does anyone know the general prices, e.g self catered / catered?

any info would be appreciated,

Well I'm going to Glasgow in august, just got all my halls stuff sorted last week. It's 110 a week, and gets paid monthly. Hope this helps.

You will receive the amount monthly and you pay your rent monthly.

As south tyneside college the rent is weekly, ?112/per week catered (where "catered" is an allowance in the canteen roughly equivalent to 2 meals per day), although you can choose to pay it monthly or in lump sums (i.e per term). No idea about other colleges I'm afraid, pretty sure there's info on the forum if you search about.

Cheers for that, also going to glasgow, starting on the 13th, spoke to accomodation today and was told they were going to send out info for it, are you doing the hnc or foundation course?
