SSTG Cadets

Just wondering if anybody has had any formal communication from SSTG? Also do we purchase our own uniform?

Im trying to get sorted as it's just under ten weeks till we start at Fleetwood and I no longer have College as i finished my exams this morning.

Im with SSTG at fleetwood too, as far as i know we purchase our own uniforms. Ive had everything confirmed in email and been told to wait until July time to get full documentation etc. Also had college start date confirmed as 3rd sept. what sponsor company you got?

Hi has any other SSTG cadets had some confusion about sorting accommodation. SSTG have told me that have to arrange my own accommodation, so i rang Fleetwood to confirm my place but was told SSTG book my place when my place on the course is booked ?

Fleetwood's policy is that all cadets live on campus for the initial 18 weeks. Therefore once SSTG book you on the course, accomodation is booked for you also. Not all colleges do this, so I guess thats why your wires have got crossed.

Im with OOCL, and from what i understand as my place on the college course is booked this has reserved me a place in the halls for accommodation.

I'm a phase one SSTG cadet and a friend of mine is with also with TUI through SSTG. AFAIK you will be given an allowance with which to buy a bog standard uniform; you will later receive a company specific uniform issued by TUI.
