Hello All,

Just wondering as I have been worrying over this. There is a possibilty that I may be mildly allergic to penicillin. Nothing like being anaphylactic or anything. Just once got a rash after taking penecillin for a few days so may be completely unrelated. If I was allergic would this cause me to fail my medical? Even though it was not a severe allergy and didn't affect my capability to work?

No, just means that if you get poorly the medical team....whomever they may be will need to know this so they don't give you it, otherwise not a problem, though it might be worth finding out from your GP if you are or not for certain as even ashore alot of first response antibiotics are penecilin based.
