Is this how it works?

I've been accepted by SSTG to get training with TUI cruise ships, as some of you might already know, but I need something clearing up if you please:

During my training sea phases, and when I start work, do I actually work on one of the ships in the Thomson TUI fleet, or will I be expected to work on passenger ferries/tankers/freighters or the like? I would have expected that since it was them who are funding me, I would be working on THEIR ships, but from some things I have read its not so black-and-white.

You will work on Thompson Cruises ships, but I've heard of TUI cadets getting some deep sea cargo time. All good experience!

going to fleetwood :') and thats good actually, I was dissapointed at missing out on getting to know what its like on some other ship types! thanks Chris

I applied a long time ago, well before christmas, and I was one of the very first to be interviewed by Steve, so I was fortunate in my timing so they got back to me quite soon... I was informed of Thomson's requirements at the start of January, and it only took a couple of days for them to accept me. I'll be getting the full contract soon, as it takes a couple of months to make everything official. Hope this helps
