Does anyone know if you have a choice of ships to work on if starting with Mearsk. Or do they pick your ship for you????

They choose your ships for you (containers/tankers for first trip possibly offshore after).
But after your first trip if there is a particular vessel or type of vessel you want to go on, they will try to accommodate you but with no promises. -
can get off shore, as you ought to know which way is up by then, but for first trip then it'll be a big old boat of tanker or container type....though i am sure there will be some one who says this aint so
