SBS Marine

Well I got a phone call this morning from Clyde Marine asking me to go for an interview with SBS Marine. It wasn't one of my three choices but I am happy all the same, as I will still going offshore and it all looks good on their website.

I would like to know if anyone is with them, and what are they like? And also I never knew I would be going for another interview, I thought the one at the CM office was it and just curious what exactly goes on at this interview?

Hi mate,

Not working for SBS myself, but in the same area. The SBS Tempest was always working in Peterhead last year.

The SBS lads seem to have a good time of it. The ships are ok, and from the other guys onboard they seem to reckon that the money isnt too bad with them either once you qualify.

If you can put up with the ****e weather (Most of the time!) the North Sea can be a fun place to work... or maybe its just me!!

Cheers mate. Ye it all looks good and they also have a few PSV's in india so that would be interesting. They also have a few DP vessels so that could be something to look forward too.

Still not got a clue what to expect at this interview though.
