Got my SSTG interview a week on Tuesday so does anyone have any tips? Do you get a real grilling or is it not too bad? Any special questions they ask that I might not have thought of?

Re: The Marmite Club Interview
not really an interview more of a chat. and when you finish he will inform you on how to answer your questions better. but still be prepared to answer the usual questions. like for engineers like my self.
what equipment do you find on ships
what types of engines (gas turbine , diesel electric etc)
what shifts do you expect to be working
and then the general background
why
when
how
family etc
Steve Abrahart is a nice guy btw.Maybe I will never be
All the things that I want to be
But now is not the time to cry
Now's the time to find out why

Re: The Marmite Club Interview
I just came back from mine yesterday, and I agree, calling it an interview seems a bit silly almostThere's no trick questions, only simple questions. The only thing he does pick up on (but he will prompt you sometimes) is if you dont expand on your answers, give as many reasons/details as you can, but without talking rubbish. You haven't got anything to worry about, there's no tests or anything like that. Good luck

Re: SSTG Interview
It's good to know it's fairly casual. I'm still not completely relaxed about it though as I've not done any interviews for about 8 years as I've been in my current job for a while.
Are there any company history type questions? Any technical kind of questions like ships equipment etc that I should revise?
