Drawing Instruments...

Afternoon! Can any current cadets let me know exactly what drawing instruments we need? The forms say "compass, dividers, eraser, protractor and set squares etc". It's the 'etc' I'm questioning... what else do I need? and any particular types of the above?

EDIT : might be useful to point out that I'm deck not engineering, is know the engineers have received a lengthy list!

Only what you have already mentioned as well as 2B pencils and a really good sharpener. Coloured pencils and pens can also be of use.

What is the difference between a rolling parallel ruler and a regular parallel ruler?

Rolling ones roll - instead of "walking", you roll it. Popular with the RFA apparently.

Cheers! Umm. can I check what exactly is meant by dividers? I assume it's not the dividers you use in a file.
