WMA Terms & Holidays ?

Starting Sept 16th Weeks Phase 1.
Can anyone please advise 1) if this is straight through or are there any breaks i.e. National or Local Holidays or just Weekends free?
2) Is there usually any lay over time before going on to Phase 2 @ Sea or are you out of the door December 26th (16 Weeks completed) with ship joining schedule?

I'm assuming this is Deck HND?

Term time is start of September to mid/late December, once you're finished college you should prepare to be away for Christmas, though in reality most companies leave it until after Christmas for your first trip.

It's only weekends off.

Warsash College Starts on 5th September and ends on 23rd December this year...

Yeah, perish the thought! studying my rear off with that in mind; only fun these days is in trying to maintain my sense of humour such that it may be..
Is it anything like Boxing where one can "over train"?

Haha, the majority of people find phase one an absolute doddle so don't worry There weren't many resits at all in my intake.
