Pre-Cadet Course

Hi

I have been successful in gaining a place on the fast track pre-cadet course with Glasgow College from Aug 23 - Jan 24. I decided to take this route following a career change. I am just looking for some thoughts, advice and guidance of when might be a suitable time to apply for a cadet-ship to start in Jan 24 and what shipping/training management companies will accept the pre-cadet course.

Most, if not all, will accept applications for January 24 now and likewise most accept the Pre-Cadet qualifications. Biggest consideration for you at this stage is the vessel types you want to train on as this may help gauge who to apply to.
