  • Tattoos and Cruises.

Hi, I'm currently doing the access course before a cadetship, I'm looking into companies and have had a few interviews but I'm yet to come across a cruise liner that accepts tattooed people.

I've been told Virgin but they're not accepting Cadets this year apparently.

    Thanks so much in advance!

Really? I'm pretty sure quite a few don't mind now as long as it nothing offensive and not on the neck or face etc. Piercings are still a bit iffy with a few though.

Yeah, most application forms state they're unacceptable. Royal Caribbean, Viking, P&O being a couple.

Carnival UK (P&O) disallow any kind of visible tattoo on the face or neck, and any other visible tattoos must be tasteful and discreet. Rules surrounding tattoos have slackened in recent years.
