Maersk Team building day

Hey guys

Just wondereing what happens at maersks team building day and what happens about transport and or accomadation???? what happens at it etc just a genrel sorta feel

Was thinking about what i gotta do in the summer and that popped into my head and got me wondering

Last years induction day was in Cambridge at http://www.mollercentre.co.uk/ with a general introduction to the company and some talks from those in the office and the captain of the Maersk Rapier and some other deck officers. Then had some posh nosh and spent the rest of the evening socialising in the bar. Second day was spent doing team building exercise of constructing go-karts and racing round a track. Was a pretty good relaxing weekend to be honest and you get to meet the guys and gals you'll be spending the next few years with. I don't know what they have planned for you but it was good last year.

Anybody got any idea roughly when it's going to be as I've yet to receive any letters from Maersk since sending my medical off!

Its going to be an outwardbounds thing this year...you lot will be chucked out of the back of a bus in the middle of nowhere and you have to sort yourselves out.

The team bulding weekends are great, the last one was a hoot

2 weeks booked up in Cyprus with the family as off of July 24th. Looks like I'll be meeting them out there!
