any tips on what to do before going for eng 1 medical?

    Re: tips for medical?

... nothing ! The point of the medical is to make an assessment on your health and medical history. Unless your classified as overweight there isn't much that can be done (and even if you are the doc might just issue an unrestricted ENG1 for one year instead of 2 year validity). Don't worry about it :-D

Yeah, have a shower, wear clean undies and socks. Clean your teeth, and maybe drink some water as they will want you to pee in a cup to test for...stuff...liver function and albumen(?) not drugs just normal doctor stuff.

Other than that, nope, just attend, as the ferret says "simples"

Yes I work for the big blue canoe company.
No I do not report things from here to them as they are quite able to come and read this stuff for themselves.

Used to be 5 until 40 then 2 BUT now everyone 2.......unless under 18 which I think is still only 1 year (but stand to be corrected)

                Re: tips for medical?

It depends, pay for yes (normally), organise not normally as you can go to any accredited doctor, so get one close to home, however they may well phone or e-mail you to remind you it's due, remember you cant sign on with an expired ENG1.

Not a pain, unless like some one round here) you miss the appointment by EXACTLY 24 hours.

Just a bog standard eyesight chart. search visual acuity expression on wikipedia and it should show you something thereabouts
