BP Shipping Training Centres?

Hello folks,

Just as a matter of interest, I was wondering if anyone can tell me which training centres BP Shipping use to train cadets, or whether anyone can tell me if they use Glasgow College of Nautical Studies? I've had a look at the info on the website and couldn't find anything useful. Probably just being a bit of a numpty.

I may be wrong here, but I believe they primarily use Warsash and Tyneside.

Cheers for the replies folks. I did see that Warsash was one, but foulnf it hard to believe that it was the only one. Looks like from what's been said that it might well be, or one of two at the most.

Warsash is certainly my number one choice. I have a mate at Glasgow on deck and he says it is a joke, everything left to the last minute.

You want to get yourself to Shields - the education you receive is much better than Warsash, and regarding the social side there is no comparison whatsoever!
If you're from Grangemouth, for about 7 years I used to live a few miles to the East.....

Unfortunately relocation isn'y really an option for me. I'm from West Lothian with a long term partner who'll be doing her post-grad in Edinburgh so I'd have to attend GCNS. I can deal with useless tutors and frustrating college staff if it is actually like that. As for the social life, that won't really be a concern during these skint times of nae money...

Not so good anymore STC if iam honest , the others must be bad if this is the best rather unorganised these days
