ok I know there is funding threads but i thought i would start a fresh with a couple questions i have.

Ok firstly I live in scotland but will be studying in England i have heard about a out of scotland saas fund would i get this? plus is it paid in full or in payments and is it for the 3 years or just one?

Would i be able to get a student loan on phase 1 just incase i would need it for anythin not that i will but i would like to know if i could get one if need be? and again how would this be paid??

Regards the student loan I believe you won't get one until phase 3.

However, I may be wrong there.

As for SAAS there is a calculator on there website that allows you to calculate what you could claim... albeit a rough estimate.

Your correct on it needing to be phase 3, that includes grants too!

Are these the 'mainstream uni' government grants? Eg the Maintenance Grant?
