Does anyone know the closing dates for applications for BP, Shell and carnival for January next year? or is it just a case of applying and finding out? can't find any dates on line!

Correct me if im wrong on this but I have always thought you can apply at any time during the year and if you get with the company your sponsporship starts in either September or January, which ever is closer. -

Pretty much.
Applications are open all year round, though response times may vary depending where in their own recruitment / placement / having a holiday cycle they are.
Although if replying to a specific advert for a company it'll normally state if there is a closing date etc
I think I applied around now-ish and got taken on in the September, though it was a little while ago
