Well that is me, I have taken the first steps to my hopeful new career.
Last night I sent away my deck cadet applications to Maersk, Carnival UK, BP and plan on doing more tonight.

Hoping I get in with Maersk though.

Will keep posted my progress, may be helpful to people yet to apply.

I received a phone call to say that interviews are taking place in Glasgow on Monday and Tuesday of next week. So should I be successful in my application I would be invited for an interview on one of those days.

I have now also Applied to Clyde, SSTG and Shell.

Only heard back from SSTG so far who have invited me to an interview.

Anyone know where SSTG interviews are held? Only just got the email today.

Flights booked easyJet, sixty odd quid into Gatwick. Not too bad.

Ha ha, I have never had a bad flight with either.
However, Ryan Air did serve me a Sausage and Bean casserole (sausage and beans in reality) with no cutlery. They said I could eat the beans with coffee stirrers... like chop sticks.

I promptly requested a refund.
