          Re: SSTG?

Everyone I've spoken to has had good experiences with SSTG, and while I didn't take up their interview offer I found them quite pleasant to deal with too. They also have a good selection of companies so I'd definitely recommend going to the interview and reading up on some of their sponsoring companies.

Always been very helpful and they pay your accom as well.

Have a good look at all the sponsoring companies on their respective websites as there are a lot to choose from.

                  Re: SSTG?

Isn't it the case that SSTG prefer people who have got some kind of watery experience or background?

                    Re: SSTG?

Not really, but it does help to be able to demonstrate an interest in the sea. I personally don't understand those who have never even been on a pleasure boat trip signing up to the MN!

.....preparing myself for angry backlash now!!

Lucky I've got a fair bit of watery experience then.

I've heard that most companies are requiring B's in science and maths now, is SSTG included?

Yes thats right Brimbo. However I only have four Cs and have two offers of employment. A certain man at SSTG basically told me to my face I didnt have a chance and it took him about half hour to reply to my email application with a refusal. So i guess they require a minimum of Bs
