    Re: Princess Cruises

I applied for Carnival a couple of years ago now (when Princess was still run as the same company)

I heard from them within a couple of months, they usually wait until they have had responses from possible cadets who are waiting on exam results.

      Re: Princess Cruises

Were you not given a timescale in the interview? For example, I've recently been to a Carnival assessment and was told I should hear by the first week of May.

Fingers crossed - perhaps no news is good news!

They can ask a veriety of Questions really.

When Carnival UK interviewed me (they still recruited for princess at that time) it was mainly about why I wanted to do the job, why I thought it was the right job for me. They'll ask questions about whether you feel like you can take being away for so long.

A bit of inside advice, if they ask you why you want to do the job, stay away from "I really want to travel" doesn't sit well apparently. By all means say it, but don't make it your only reason.

After your interview you can expect to hear from them around june july time if you're applying for the september intake. They have to wait for the exam results for other applicants to see if they achieve the predicted results they applied with.

When I went, I already had the results, I had to wait MONTHS before they said yes =]

Good luck, any more questions feel free to PM me

            Re: Princess Cruises

This year's Carnival recruitment seems to have been done early, I had my interview early April and got my offer early May, and it seems there were people interviewed as far back as January.
