Getting a reply from Shell is like getting blood from a stone. I have no idea whether they are recruiting for January, their timescales for the process or whether they have even received my application.

I'm sick of emailing, does anyone have a phone number for their cadet team?

if you applied online i rember the guy saying that there system wasnt working so best apply by post. and they got back to me very late on for my interview.

I had the exact same problem earlier this year. Sent my application and all in November, got word back in January calling about an interview in March. I then didnt hear back from them until June. I sent loads of e-1mails during then, with no reply

Phone them up, and when you do get the name of the person who answers. Then phone that person at least once a week until they get bored/fed up of hearing your perky phone banter and give you the information you need/organise an interview/ etc. Email is clearly being roundfiled in that office. Or if you're a bit shy and can't face manning up and phoning, write them a nice letter on real paper and supporting the Royal Mail by posting it.

Yahoo search, Manx govt and Scoot say that they are on 01624 821500. Some weird business directory says 01624 824344. Do report back.

I found the number for the head office switchboard in London and after a bit of digging they came up with the goods. For those that are interested, the recruitment team can be reached on 01624 821525. I was told that they are currently reviewing applications and will contact people during October for interviews during November.
