Hello! I'm a deck OOW and looking at getting a cadetship as an ETO, question though, can you actually get sponsored twice? Just in an application for one of the companies I applied to it asked if I'd already had a cadetship and answering yes could reduce my chances of succeeding in my application.

I'll be interested to hear how you get on. I thought the funding only covered a single cadetship.
However you could look into doing the training in Cork and pay your way. Looks an excellent course on paper.Former TH cadet with experience of cruise ships, buoy tenders, research ships and oil tankers

Be aware that should you answer falsely, they'll find out as soon as they try to claim funds for you which you can guarantee will result in immediate termination.?Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn?t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.?
