    Ahoy!

    Hi all, I'm Alex and I'm a 1st yr student at Plymouth Uni. I'm preparing for the January Sailings exam...
    Parallel, Plane and Mercator. Finding hard to get my head around best ways to remember formulas. Any tips other than what I'm already doing, hours of revision. kind regards

    As said, you should get a formula sheet. Not that it hurts to remember them anyway. The best way to that is to practice examples. It will stick in your mind pretty quickly if you're regularly doing the calculations.
