Clyde Marine Training

Clyde Marine Training recruits a large number of cadets each year on behalf of over 50 shipping companies. Collectively, these shipping companies operate almost every conceivable ship type. Some companies may only take on a small number of cadets each year.​

Deck (HND/FD), Engine (HND/FD) and Electro-technical (FD).

Entry requirements

HND:
5 GCSEs at grade C or above including English, Maths and a Science subject.

FD:
5 GCSEs at grade C or above including English, Maths and Physics or Dual Award Science. Physics may be substituted with Chemistry for deck applicants.
120 UCAS points from 2 or more A-Levels, including either Maths or Physics.
